Base grant (30%)

The standard rate is 30% of eligible costs for a qualifying heat pump. Eligible costs are capped; the 30% applies inside that cap, not to the whole invoice.

Climate-speed bonus

Replacing a working oil, gas, coal, or night-storage system can add a climate-speed bonus on top of the base rate. The bonus is time-limited and only applies when the old boiler still ran.

Income bonus

Households under the programme's taxable-income threshold can claim an extra income bonus. Stacking is capped, so the three rates do not simply add to 80%.
